Sharing heartfelt, nuanced stories. Building bold creatives. Being awesome.
All my life, stories have trailed my journey. So, in this space, I make a home where there is joy, sunshine, and purpose.
I enjoy the comfort of books and stories, and now, I make it my life’s duty to pay forward the benevolence of those who have nourished me thus, starting from the Bible.
I write to turn my imagination, curiosity, and quiet meditations into tangible matters. To enjoy more of life (God), see more of it, and perhaps, touch someone through my creative works.
Raised in a single-parent home, barely able to speak English at ten, and staggering through my creative career for the most part, I want to hold the torch for those who stagger or whimper on this journey called life.
Beyond writing, I’m a growth strategist helping Christian creatives build with strategic alignment and systems that make their journey easier and deliver guaranteed results.
I run OneGoodJune, a creative startup that helps Black Christian writers master storytelling and provides them with tools to grow their careers.
All of me is inspired by all of God, so I rest in the finished works of the cross. I lead with truth and kindness so that my life and works point others to Jesus, and center around the pursuit of Philippians 3:10–12:
“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead. I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me.”
